Flagstaff Herefords Bull Sale 2020

Flagstaff Herefords 23rd Annual Bull Sale, 23 May 2020. On farm at Mahitahi.

Lot1 - Flagstaff Krypton P23 - WITHDRAWN

Very thick son of Wirruna Fletcher. Run with 20 yearling heifers for 2 cycles, 19 in calf. Top 1% for IMF and all selection indexes.

Lot 2 - Flagstaff Kansas P110

Long growthy bull by a Flagstaff yearling. Both eye appeal and performance from one of our better cows. Top 1% for 200 and 400 day weight.

Lot 3 - Flagstaff Knighthood P44

Easy doing, deep bodied, dark coated Gallant son from a Silver Benchmark cow. Her first 4 bull calves have all been sold in the sale, with 3 having been used in the stud as yearlings. Excellent set of figures across the board.

Lot 4 - Flagstaff Kernel P55

First of our Craigmore Baton sons on offer. Scanned at the top of the mob in November. Good data for growth and carcase. Top 5% in NZ for growth traits.

Lot 5 - Flagstaff Kauri P51

Another very thick Gallant son whose mother is now 13 and still producing well. Scurs.

Lot 6 - Flagstaff Kickoff P53

A stretchy Wirruna Leap Forward son. Dam had twin bulls sold at last year's sale. Good indexes.

Lot 7 - Flagstaff Kaniere P54

Placid Echuca son from a good Flagstaff Big Red daughter. Positive for calving ease, growth and fertility.

Lot 8 - Flagstaff Ketch P57

Very quiet Baton son from a 2nd calver. Calving ease and fertility with all indexes positive.

Lot 9 - Flagstaff Knot P43

Gallant / Spark cross. Bred for growth and carcase. Scurs.

Lot 10 - Flagstaff Karat P56

Typical Gallant son with good carcase and calving ease from a good Echucha cow. Spurs.

Lot 11 - Flagstaff Kickboxer

Dark coloured, deep bodied Gallant bull from an older cow.

Lot 12 - Flagstaff Knight Templar P40

Last of the Gallants from another Echuca cow. Brings calving ease, fertility as well as a massive eye muscle in a moderate frame.

Lot 13 - Flagstaff Kimbal P5

Very docile Leap Forward son who was mismothered after a flood and pretty much reared himself. Probably the best data in the lineup this year.

Lot 14 - Flagstaff Kidnapper P41

The only pure horned bull in our offering this year. A lot of growth and terrific carcase from a Silver Benchmark dam.

Lot 15 - Flagstaff Kini P66

Big quiet son of Flagstaff Iceman M105 who was used as a yearling before selling at the 2018 sale. Iceman is also the sire of lot 2. Top 1% for growth and carcase weight.
